TamilNadu TET Application Form
Tamil Nadu TET or Tamil Nadu Teachers Eligibility Test is conducted by National Council for Teacher Education as per the RET Act. By appearing in this examination, all those candidates who are interested in making a career in the field of teaching can endeavor to make a bright future. They will get employment in
schools situated in this state. They can teach students from class I to class VIII. In order to apply for the test, the candidates need to fill Tamil Nadu TET Application Form.
Criteria for Eligibility
# All those interested incumbents who have passed 10+2 and a Diploma in Teacher Education from any reputed and recognized Teacher Training Institute
# They also need to seek an appointment to work as teacher teaching students from classes I to V can appear for Paper I
# The candidates who have passed Bachelor’s Degree with subjects like English, Tamil, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology, Geography and History or any equivalent subject from any recognized college, institute and a University
# A candidate who has cleared from a recognized University, B.Ed examination and seek appointment as teacher teaching students from classes VI to VIII can appear for Paper II
# Candidates who are waiting for the result of the B.ED examination can also appear for this test
Pattern of Paper
# For teaching classes I to V, Paper I need to be cleared
# For teaching classes VI to VIII, Paper II need to be cleared
# In paper I, 150 Multiple Choice Questions will be asked
# The duration of Paper I is 90 minutes
# In paper II, 150 Multiple Choice Questions will be asked
# The duration of Paper II is 90 minutes
# Candidate who wishes to teach all classes – Class I to Class VIII, need to appear for both papers

# The candidate who scores more than 60% marks in this test will be considered to be passed in this examination
# The examination results will be declared in the month of August
